Home Alone Music is proud to present The Light You Throw – the third album from Te Whanganui-a-Tara based electricUTOPIA songwriter Lake South. The album was written in the midst of Aotearoa’s (first) Level-4 lockdown and recorded at a rented house in Waikawa beach, Marty’s place in Takapau, Avalon Studios (drums), and Lake’s flat.
From the anxiety of the pandemic comes a record full of hope, joy and defiance. Expertly crafted odes to friends, the cities they live in, and the futures they strive for.
